It was just a balanced option for a quick weekend visit in Axminster with attractive and competitive value for money. The room looked clean and nice despite the issues we had with finding it. Make sure to get the key from Greggs before arriving.

The bed was clean and comfortable. I traveled over two hours to stay overnight and was relieved to find that much.
It was difficult to find the property. There were no clear signs to the accommodation, and it took a lot of time to figure out how to check in.

A small fridge would be helpful.

Simple and Convenient Stay
This place is a solid choice if you need a spot near Seaton. Super close to a bus stop and not far from the train station. Room was basic but comfy, and I appreciate the parking right outside. We grabbed some grub nearby. the jacket potato was really good! Just wished the room had a bit more charm.

The staff were friendly and accommodating during our stay.
The hot water took a long time to come through in the bathroom.

missingWrote a review on Jul 09good price-value
This place was a good match for a weekend break in Axminster with a solid price-value balance. It was a hassle to find the check-in, but they directed me to get the key from a nearby restaurant, which was a funny experience after a long trip. Just make sure to ask for help if you're lost on arrival.

I had a surprisingly comfy stay with warm beds and a lovely breakfast that included quality bacon and eggs. The clean, spacious room was a bright spot too. I'd definitely come back!

missingWrote a review on Jun 27spacious roomcomfortable bedinconvenient locationlack of bus serviceslimited dining options
Spacious room with modern decoration was a pleasant surprise. The friendly receptionist made check-in straightforward, and the bed was comfortable for a good night's sleep. the location proved inconvenient as it required a 30-minute walk to the train station, and the lack of regular bus services contributed to this issue. A small TV was available, but the overall dining options were limited nearby.

Perfect for a quick stopover
Needed a simple place while driving back from Exeter to Portsmouth and this was spot on. The room was cozy and clean, and honestly, £39 with breakfast is a steal. Had some trouble with the TV and shower, but no biggie. Would def stay again!

had a really comfy room, super clean and warm! it was great to have brekky included for such a cheap price too! the staff were friendly which made my stay even better. really easy to get to, perfect for my quick stop over on my way home. def would stay here again for a simple place to rest.
but the tv didn’t work right and i couldn't switch the tap to shower. also, it was a bit creepy being the only one there at night.

Cozy, Cozy, Cozy
I loved how accessible the location was, with a bus stop right outside and the train station just a mile away. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, exactly what I needed to refresh after a busy day. And let’s not forget the delightful little coffee station—perfect for a morning pick-me-up!

great price, amazing layout, close to convenience stores
Finding the property is a nightmare!!! No clear signage, and I had to wander around to figure out where to check-in. The bathroom in room 5 could use immediate attention due to a terrible smell!!! This needs urgent refurbishment to be enjoyable.
